The leadership team at BG Industrial brings over 100 years of specialized knowledge in rotating and reciprocating equipment – high-value equipment with a high cost of downtime. Our team understands the sense of urgency that naturally comes from maintaining and servicing this type of equipment and stands ready to support your next project or turnaround.

Leadership Team
Brian Boulden – President & Co-Founder
Brian Boulden is a 3rd generation business owner, having joined M.A. Boulden in 1982 in sales and business development. Brian progressed through a variety of increasingly responsible roles in sales, engineering, and operations, focusing more broadly on improving the reliability of reciprocating and rotating equipment in Refining & Petrochemical facilities. Brian has extensive experience with compressors and pump systems, and in 2000 launched a Pump Wear Components segment promoting DuPont™ Vespel® CR-6100 composite material on a global basis.
Brian has developed proprietary materials known as B-Series composites for rotating equipment, designed a patented PERFSEAL® product that enhances the performance of pump systems, and co-founded BG Industrial Services, LLC in 2021.
George Gates – Vice President & Co-Founder
In his role, George Gates oversees the overall strategy and day-to-day execution of BG Industrial Services. George started his career at Delaware City Refinery as a Union Millwright in the mid-1990’s and has extensive experience with reciprocating and rotating equipment. As a Rotating Equipment Specialist, George has provided onsite technical and maintenance support in several Refining and Industrial Process facilities throughout North America and the US Virgin Islands. Most recently, he led a team of specialists supporting the restart of the Limetree Bay Refinery in St. Croix, USVI. In this role, George acted as both Compressor Equipment Superintendent and Rotating Equipment & Technical Specialist, coordinating equipment maintenance and service work between crafts. He led the reassembly and commissioning of 15 reciprocating compressors and 2 centrifugal compressors, and assisted with the design, delivery, and installation of 3 Ariel KBK compressor skids.
Jay Burnette – Chief Executive Officer
Jay Burnette is the Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for developing long-term business strategy and delivering strategic outcomes. Prior to joining BG Industrial Services, Jay was the President & Chief Executive Officer of Allied Reliability, Inc., a manufacturing, distribution, and industrial service business focused on asset reliability solutions for energy and industrial end markets. During his time at Allied, Jay led the transformation of the business by executing on a focused business strategy and, through acquisition, completed three transactions that more than doubled the size of the company.
Prior to Allied Reliability, Jay was President of Waukesha Bearings Corporation, a $200 million designer and manufacturer of engineered bearings and seals for energy and industrial end markets. With over 800 employees around the world, Waukesha Bearings is an operating company of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV). Prior to Waukesha, Jay was the Director of Sales & Marketing at Fairbanks Morse Engine in Beloit, Wisconsin, a maker of large diesel and natural gas engines for power generation and marine end markets. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and a MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Tyler DiCesare – Operations Manager
In his role, Tyler is responsible for providing project technical support to field and shop services related to rotating and reciprocating equipment. Tyler’s background in machinery reliability and problem solving is an excellent fit for the types of projects customers routinely call on BG Industrial to complete. Working alongside George Gates, Tyler was instrumental in the restart of the Limetree Bay Refinery in St. Croix, USVI. Spending nearly a year onsite, Tyler worked with the extended team to disassemble and recommission reciprocating compressors, provided technical and analytic support for the machinery selection related to the Ariel KBK compressors, and provided oversight for the installation of the first unit.
Prior to joining BG Industrial Services, Tyler served as a Rotating Equipment Engineer at the PBF Energy-Delaware City Refinery in Delaware. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University in Pennsylvania.
